Belgium 2026 World Cup Squad Analysis, Odds and Prediction by GoalBible

This summer, Belgium step onto the world stage for their 15th World Cup appearance and their fourth straight tournament. For a generation that once promised so much, the pressure to bounce back from a flat 2022 group stage exit is real. Back then, many people, myself included, expected them to push much deeper into the competition.

Rudi Garcia is now navigating a period of transition. Players like Kevin De Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois, and Romelu Lukaku still give this side a strong spine, and this tournament could be their last shot at international glory. Out wide, the Premier League pair of Jeremy Doku and Leandro Trossard bring speed, quick feet, and sharp movement that can stretch defenses across the final third.

In the sections below, I’ll walk you through Belgium’s outright odds, group stage pricing, stage of elimination markets, the players worth watching, and their Group G setup.

Belgium World Cup 2026 Winner Odds and Implied Probability

FIFA World Cup 2026 – Belgium to win @ 40.00 at Mostbet

You can currently find Belgium priced around 40.00 (implied probability 2.5%) to lift the trophy for the first time. Those odds place them roughly 11th in the overall market, level with Colombia and well behind Spain, England, and France, who are the clear frontrunners. At GoalBible, I suggest treating this price with caution. Their third-place finish in 2018 showed what the Golden Generation could do, but the Qatar campaign exposed real flaws as they finished third in their group, behind Morocco and Croatia, scoring only once.

One positive is Belgium’s qualifying record. They went unbeaten through Group J with 18 points from eight matches and haven’t lost a World Cup qualifier since 2009. The group, which included Wales, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, and Liechtenstein, was kind on paper. Still, you can only beat what’s in front of you.

If you're betting on Belgium to go deep, I recommend reading GoalBible's full Mostbet review first. Their platform covers outright and group markets well, and odds are adjusted regularly as the tournament approaches. It's a solid place to track price shifts before committing your stake.

Belgium Odds to Win Group G

Looking at Group G, Belgium should be securing a spot in the knockout phase as group winners. The market agrees, pricing them at roughly 1.36 to top the group and a very short 1.02 just to qualify. Egypt, with Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush, are the obvious danger at around 5.50. Iran are a well-organized side at 7.00 , and New Zealand are the outsiders at 21.00 . Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand have never moved past a World Cup group stage, but the expanded format gives them a real chance here.

Belgium Stage of Elimination Odds

For Belgium, a group-stage exit is priced at 15.00. After Qatar, I can't say I advise completely ignoring that price, but it’s a low probability. The expanded format makes a last-32 appearance far more probable. If they top Group G, they face a third-placed team (Group A, E, H, I, or J), a match they’d be favored to win. The real pressure point comes in the Round of 16, where they are likely to meet the winner of Group D, which includes the USA, Paraguay, and Australia. Elimination at that stage is priced at 3.00. A potential quarter-final clash against a favorite like Spain looms large, with a Belgian exit there available at 4.00.

For most bettors on Mostbet, the value might not sit in the outright winner market, but in these specific elimination rounds.

Belgium World Cup 2026 Top Goalscorer Odds

My focus up top is on Lukaku, and I'll tell you why. He lost a big portion of 2025 to injury, so getting his body right for 2026 is everything for this Belgian side. The record books don’t lie here: he’s already the country’s all-time leading scorer, and nobody in a red shirt has scored more World Cup goals than him. When he’s fit and engaged, the whole attack runs through him.

Behind him, the supporting cast is strong enough to trouble any defense. I’ve watched Trossard put together a really sharp season at Arsenal, and Doku has those moments on the ball for Manchester City where he looks unplayable. Add in De Bruyne’s brain and his passing weight, and Belgium can cut through a low block if they find rhythm. It’s a forward group I’d want on my side when the knockout games get tense. If you're building a bet slip on Mostbet, keeping an eye on Lukaku’s fitness before the tournament starts is a smart move.

GoalBible’s Final Verdict

Belgium has the tools to fix their reputation. My honest view is that reaching the quarter-finals is a realistic target, and a price of 4.00 for them to exit at that stage might be the clearest reflection of their current level. A win versus a top side in the last eight would require every piece to click, but I’m not ready to write off this core of players just yet. Use this form analysis to shape your plays on Mostbet this week before the markets shift.
